- If it beeps loudly and continuously, especially when set to low sensitivity, you're likely near a hidden camera.
- You can then use the red light to confirm the presence of a hidden camera. If you see a blinking red dot while using the red light, that's most likely a camera lens!
- Turn on the camera search mode. The IR light has 3 settings (long/slow/fast). The special viewfinder built into this detector makes it easier to see the reflections of a camera lens.
- A camera lens will appear as a bright spot when you look through the viewfinder. The camera detector also has a flashlight for easy camera finding at night!
- Report any hidden cameras you've found and make sure to document everything too for your own safety and proof.

I love my hidden camera detector. This is the first time that I have purchased one. I’m definitely feeling a lot better going on vacation with it.
I tested this device out in my living room, scanning to see would pick up the hidden wireless camera, and to my surprise, it did beep when I got closer to the bookcase where I placed it. It also could detect an apple air tag I put on my keys, so who knows when it might come in handy. It is not something I would buy, but given the recent events of people unknowingly being surveilled and tagged, it's a good idea to get this device. The bonus is that it's very portable and very tiny, press the power button for like 3 seconds to power it on, plus there are instructions in the box; you can also use it as a flashlight in the dark. There are many other capabilities of this device that I still need to explore
Tested it around the house on several wireless cameras, phones, router and magnets. All were easy to locate with this device ( was real easy because I knew where they were to start with ). I would recommend this product to others as it should find these items easily enough when they're hidden in public areas. **NOTE** - For this to work properly with confidence, test it around your house first so you will know what to expect when using it in public areas.
This is my go to item for my piece of mind when i book rooms with AirBnb or any hotel. It give me a confidence that I scanned the room. I tried with a spy cam to practice. and it works perfectly. You will need spend some time to understand the setting for detecting signals. I had to read the instruction few time to understand all the settings. Must have for anyone with security concern. the wifi has few sensitivity level and it worked well when i tested with my router. It’s my goto tools for my travel and i always carry it with me
We’ll see how this functions on my next trip but I’m very excited to use it. I do love that it’s compact and easy to travel with and that it’s rechargeable. I would recommend this especially for the price
